Quadrille Capital, the independent investment manager in Venture Capital and Growth Equity appoints three new partners to strengthen its leadership position in financing growth companies in Europe and the United States

Alejandra Duran Gil, Vianney Barre and Edouard Brunet join the four existing partners Jérôme Chevalier, Henri de Perignon, Brice Delome and Ed Colby to accelerate its global development in the areas of investment in growth companies.

With €1.7bn in assets under management, Quadrille is an independent investment company specializing in Venture Capital and Growth Equity.

Quadrille has been investing for more than 20 years in technology and life sciences in Europe and the United States with four complementary strategies:

  • direct investments in fast-growing technology companies,
  • investments in Venture Capital and Growth Equity funds,
  • secondary repurchases of fund shares or company portfolios,
  • investments in listed technology and life sciences companies.

Quadrille has built its platform and its team to exploit the synergies between these different types of businesses.

Biographies for the three new partners:

Alejandra Duran Gil
Partner

Alejandra joined Quadrille Capital in January 2019 as an Associate in the investment team.

Since her arrival, she has been in charge of the execution and monitoring of numerous primary and secondary transactions in Europe and the United States.

Her cross-functional experience in Quadrille’s various investment strategies in technology gives her team a unique advantage in identifying, structuring and valuing transactions in these markets.

Previously, Alejandra spent four years in mergers & acquisitions at Messier Maris & Associés in Paris, where she was primarily involved in transactions in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors in Europe and the United States.

Alejandra is a graduate of ESCP (Master in Management – Corporate Finance).

Vianney Barre
Partner

Vianney joined Quadrille Capital in January 2019 as an Associate within the investment team.

Since his arrival he has been in charge of the execution and monitoring of numerous primary and secondary transactions in Europe and the United States.

His cross-functional experience in Quadrille’s various investment strategies in technology gives his team a unique advantage in identifying, structuring and valuing transactions in these markets.

Before that, Vianney worked four years in the investment banking division of Nomura in Paris. He has been involved in transactions in the infrastructure and energy sector.

Vianney is a graduate of ESCP (Master’s in Management – Corporate Finance) and studied at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.

Edouard Brunet
Partner – Chief Value Officer & Chief Financial Officer

Edouard joined Quadrille Capital in 2019 as Vice President. He was appointed Chief Value Officer in 2022 and then took on the role of Chief Financial Officer in February 2023.

As Chief Value Officer, Edouard is responsible for optimizing liquidity in the funds and optimal refinancing of participations. He works with his team in close collaboration with the investment teams on valuations, capital or debt raisings and exit processes. Furthermore, as CFO, Edouard coordinates all finance, legal and compliance functions.

Edouard was an investment banker for nine years, notably at Goldman Sachs and Messier Maris & Associés.

Edouard holds a Master’s degree in Management from ESSEC.
